Most stores have no documented compliance record. The IDR Verified badge is the visible signal that yours does — backed by weekly scans, a cryptographic receipt, and a publicly verifiable registry that updates in real time.
Two Badge Tiers
The first 500 stores receive a permanent Founding Member badge — a distinction no future member receives, ever.
Gold. Bottom arc reads "FOUNDING MEMBER." Center reads "ACTIVE" when your store is clean. A permanent credential that cannot be replicated after the founding period closes.
Silver. Bottom arc reads "IDR PROTOCOL REGISTRY." Same credential system, same live monitoring, same public registry record. Available after the founding period closes.
Badge States
Every badge calls our live API on every page load. Status updates automatically after every weekly rescan. You never reinstall or update your embed code — the badge handles itself.
Score ≥ 80, no critical violations. Full gold. The ring pulses. This is the target state — the reward for a clean, well-maintained store.
Gold · Clean StoreEnrolled and actively monitored. Open violations being remediated. Silver signals you're in the system and working — already more than most stores.
Silver · Active EnrollmentMembership lapsed. Badge goes grey and says UNVERIFIED. A grey badge is worse than no badge — it signals you had protection and let it lapse. Reactivating restores full status instantly.
Grey · LapsedFooter Badge Sizes
Set your preferred size with data-size="52". At 28px the badge renders as an icon only — no caption text.
In The Wild
Dark seal on light backgrounds. Gold outline on dark. One data-theme attribute — the badge handles both.
Badge Protection
Three layers of protection make unauthorized badge use impossible — and immediately visible to anyone who clicks it.
The badge calls our API every time the page loads. If the domain isn't registered, it renders grey and says UNVERIFIED. An unauthorized store gets a badge that exposes rather than protects them.
Every badge links to idrshield.com/verify/[domain]. If someone copies another store's badge code, clicking it shows the wrong store's registry — immediately exposing the fraud to any visitor who checks.
Wix and Webflow users install their badge as a screenshot from their live verify page, linked back to idrshield.com/verify/theirdomain. Anyone who clicks it sees the real registry record — misuse is immediately visible.
